Stiegl – award-winning brewing expertise
AND PROUD OF IT!
If we were still at school, they would say we were “model students” achieving “excellent results”. Guaranteeing the quality of Stiegl beer has always been our no.1 priority. We ensure our beer goes through a long, slow fermentation process and is carefully matured. This dedication, in combination with centuries of brewing expertise, is what puts Stiegl a step above the rest. What’s more, our beer has earned the right to bear one of the strictest quality seals in international brewing, the ‘Slow Brewing Seal’. Of course, the basis for a superior-quality product like our beer is its ingredients. Most of these come straight from Austrian farmers with whom we’ve had friendly relations for years. Whichever individual Stiegl product you choose, our standards are the same: Excellent quality and a marvellous flavour from the very first sip. That’s the art of brewing at its highest level.
Multiple national and international prizes awarded for our beers justify our approach – consistent insistence on quality, every step of the way. Stiegl beer meets the highest of quality standards, and wins prizes every year at a whole range of high-ranking competitions, from the ‘World Beer Cup’ to the ‘European Beer Star’. There’s plenty going on in this sector with more than 20 different types of beer. Stiegl’s perennial classics like Stiegl Goldbräu and Stiegl Hell, are accompanied by creative seasonal brews produced on site at the Stiegl brewery in Salzburg, and specialty beers with their own strong characteristics from Stiegl’s Wildshut farm estate. All of them promise moments of exquisite enjoyment, joie de vivre and a sprinkling of prizes and awards.
